Do you have an abandoned water well on your property? Finding the well water before drilling is a good way to avoid one!

Good article on  http://www.facebook.com/aqualocate about abandoned wells and how they contaminate our groundwater! I wonder if realtors tell land buyers about this before they sell a piece of land or if well drillers do the right thing after drilling a "dry" well?

I cannot count how many groundwater surveys we have done where we've stumbled upon an abandoned well that was not properly sealed.
